All of the methods used for my training and behaviour modification are based on scientific study and learning theory as well as my years of experience working with all types of breeds and issues. No aversive, punishing or oppressive methods are used within any behaviour (or training) modification plans or sessions.

You are responsible for the conduct of your dog at all times, especially in public places.

All 1-2-1 bookings of multiple of sessions must be completed within the set time period stated on the Maher & Hound website to ensure continuity and momentum in training

Payment

Payment must be made via BACS upon receipt of your invoice in order to confirm your sessions.

Refunds cannot be given after your Training or Behaviour Programme has started, except in exceptional circumstances.

Please note that for certain areas extra travel costs may be added. If this is the case you will be advised of this at time of booking.

Cancellation

48 hours notice via phone or email is required if you are unable to keep the scheduled training session, workshop or consultation, otherwise the full cost will be charged.

If the client fails to attend a 1-2-1 session or class / workshop no refund shall be given.

If the client is more than 20 minutes late for a 1-2-1 training session and has not corresponded with Maher & Hound to inform them of the delay, the session will be cancelled and no refund shall be given.

No refunds will be given if a client decides not to use the full number of sessions from a purchased programme or workshops

Weather

In the event of extreme weather conditions (heatwave, torrential rain, snow etc) the training session will revert to Zoom

Confidentiality

I have worked with and I continue to work with some high profile clients and therefore I totally understand how important discretion and confidentiality is in all cases. Please be assured that everything we discuss will be confidential.

Insurance

I have full Public Liability insurance and Professional Indemnity insurance – full details are available upon request. My Professional Insurance indemnity insurance cover is worldwide including the United States and Canada, BUT all my work is subject to English Law and UK courts. In respect of work undertaken with USA / Canada based clients, if you DO NOT accept English Law and UK courts I am not permitted to work with you. From an insurance point of view this is clear and precise and fits how your insurance cover will operate.
